Mission Delirium at El Rio

I love drawing musicians playing concerts, but sometimes the venue is a little too crowded and I just need to be dancing with my body and not just with my markers.

I brought my sketchpad to the Mission Delirium show in the back patio of El Rio and started to draw during the show - but then decided to take a few pictures instead. I saw the show on Thursday, March 21. I made a painting of the show using a photo and a short video I took (and the memory of the feeling of being there) the following night. Now it’s Saturday and I’m about to bring the painting over to City Art Cooperative Gallery for the final week of the March show there.
