On Thursday I watched an interview with Faith Ringgold and took these #sketchnotes. Thank you to @themuseumofmodernart
for giving us a chance to get to know this legendary artist better.

I’m sure the interview would have delved deeper into the meaning and nuance of the art had they involved people from their education department, but those experts were all fired in April.

I enjoyed learning about Ringgold’s advocacy for representation at museums, and wonder why that didn’t prompt any introspection about MOMA’s staffing and predominately white board of trustees.
