Last night, @sfunified became an #ArtsEquity district!

The board unanimously approved a resolution from @alisoncollinssf and @lopez4schools adopting the Declaration of the Rights of all Students to Equity and Access in Arts Learning from @create_ca and launching a program to make those rights a reality.

This came after a decision to cover or paint over an historic mural in a high school that is degrading and harmful to students, and after approving the #ourhealingourhands resolution supporting students in caring for each other in making sure they all have access to mental health support. -Both issues brought brave, thoughtful, moving comments from awesome students.
