Chapter 510 (an Oakland affiliate of 826 Valencia) helps young writers write books and then pairs them with an artist to create illustrations. I created illustrations for Maya Makonnen’s mystery novel, “Our Hero.”
The book will be released at the December 10 book fair. Maya and the other mystery novelists will be reading from their books from 3-4pm and signing from 4-4:30.
