This is a selection of art was created by students in Mr. Holmes' English classes to expressionistically deal with the emotions of characters in Richard Wright's "Black Boy" or in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby". Students were encouraged to use art as a form for exploring the meaning of the novels.
